I’m both the exact target market for this and completely annoyed that it’s happening. He always does this to me, lol.

i mean, excuse any ignorance on my part but i can’t imagine being someone who had any kind of time in a wellness center or something seeing a show like this that tries to humanize a character who specifically DEhumanized numerous inpatients in a movie that was intended to more or less challenge viewers’ ideas of who really is crazy - and who isn’t, either

just seems like this could end up being a real slap in the face to a specific group of people

 

I would have preferred we gotten ACS S2 by now instead of this personally. S1 is my favorite thing he’s done

Yeah that’s often the problem with creating origin stories for characters that don’t need them. And as much as I love about what he does, Murphy absolutely has a problem with humanizing people who don’t need it or twisting the truth for entertainment at the expense of telling respectful stories.

Lol yeah sorry I was just making a joke about you saying S2. Impeachment is coming out in September though.

I'm interested, but Ryan Murphy has already fooled me into watching one too many seasons of AHS

 

Just give us more Scream Queens instead of this shit

 

Watching this. It’s an insult to the movie and book. But as a separate thing, it’s pretty fun. On episode four and it bears no relation, but has been an enjoyable ride in the way a more tempered, focused AHS season would be.
