on tour with pinegrove this summer, gonna be one of the best shows
Thanks for posting this, had never even heard of them before but it's great so far. Checking to see if that tour comes here now.
Edit: Lol they are coming here to a place I've never heard of and looks like it could maybe fit 50 people/looks scary. Going to go probably though.
I really like this band and feel like their next album is going to get them a lot of attention.
This band is really good I wish they were playing the Portland date.
Topshelf is pushing them real hard right now
Saw them open for Julien Baker, made for an excellent show. Was really impressed with their set.
Too bad they aren't coming to Dallas with Pinegrove :(
I like this
i may be more excited to see them for the first time than i am pinegrove for my third, haha
been so mad they've kept skipping us since last summer when i couldn't go (and wasn't as into them), i listen to this record a lot now
and those tour dates with pinegrove are here: Topshelf Records — Ratboys // East Coast Tour (with Pinegrove on select dates)
^_____^ thank you!!!!
omg I see them next week
and a US / UK / Europe tour: Topshelf Records — Ratboys // UK, Europe & US tour with Dowsing
listening to the 2 songs on the Dowsing split and liking this a lot more than when I heard AOID. Is anyone else hearing an improvement? Am I crazy? FYI, I didn't dislike AOID.
Just came to post that. What a statement and way to handle a horrific situation. But seriously so terrible.
That song/video is so good. I just saw them play a bunch of new songs live and I'm really excited for this record
Caught them live in March, I love Aoid and I'm pumped for their upcoming record.
listen to GN! It's streaming in full at http://ratboysband.com
I had high hopes for this and it exceeded all my expectations, what a great record
man, AOID from track 4 on is just a fucking stunner of a record
Track 2 is my favorite though!!! Hahaha
hey maybe i'm dumb but what the fuck does AOID mean
Q&A: Ratboys - buzz
buzz: Can you talk a little more about the title of the album, and what it means?
JS: AOID doesn’t stand for anything. It’s just kind of a visual memory of a day we had back in summer of 2011 when Dave and I were driving in the middle of nowhere in Kentucky, and we stumbled across this roadside carnival. We decided to go to it, and they stamped our hand with that very strange stamp that’s VOID backwards.
