absolutely love this and very glad I held off on the last 2 singles. "Crossed that Line" through me for a great loop. the production on this is incredible.
I went to the release show last night, it was a great time. Obviously they played the entire record plus a few oldies, loved getting to hear all these songs live, especially seeing them just jam out to “Black Earth, WI.” The poster for the show is really cool too, I like the imagery they’ve been going for this album cycle.
My review of this thrilling album should be up on Monday! Really glad everyone seems to share the same sentiment towards The Window.
Best band best people so happy I got to see them twice in one weekend They played “Black Earth, WI” again tonight and it was even better this time, I ascended into heaven when they played it, such a good song (the whole album really is but that song is extra great)
I really love a few songs on this, but I think i like each of they’re releases a little less than the previous one, not counting the very first, or Happy Birthday Ratboys which I haven’t really listened too full on. I just miss the experimental spacey stuff that they did on GN, and I like the more straight up rock songs on Printers Devil than any of these, this record just feels very samey too me.
This blows away anything they have done before for me. Really incredible stuff, first release of theirs that doesn’t have at least a couple songs that kind of bore me
