well I did record an interview with Julia but I lost the audio file somehow and I'm so fucking pissed

It really is - I thought I’d had back it up before buying a new MacBook but I didn’t

 

I was reading an email about a listening party through bandcamp on Thursday and my manager walked by and said RATBOYS WHATS THAT? I said “a band” and they said SOUNDS GROSS

 

There’s a listening party through their Discord tonight, listening party tomorrow at Big Kids in Chicago, and then Thursday on Bandcamp.

 

This will be on bandcamp today?

Black Earth, WI is my favorite thing they've done. Album is great, though maybe a bit drawn out.

No Way is soooooooooooo good. Something about it reminds me of Built to Spill in the best way

 

I like Printers Devil and GN quite a bit, this blows them out of the water imo, huge level up.

I do love it as the sweet to Wednesday’s sour. Pretty perfect pairing.

 

Wow this is incredible so far. They're really rocking out here in a way I don't really feel like they have before. I loved Black Earth, WI a lot, and I thought It's Alive! was a great song too but had me expecting a little bit more Ratboys as usual. This feels like a pretty big step forward.

 

this is great, its alive is the only song I dont enjoy for whatever reason
