It doesn't have a season every single year, but The Next Iron Chef/Iron Chef Gauntlet is a competition cooking show where there's all new contestants at the beginning and one winner at the end. The latest season just aired. But if you don't want to include it in your poll, that's fine. I just thought it should be included as the title of Iron Chef is generally considered more prestigious than the two choices you offered.
