pretty crazy (and understandable) how the avengers move has fully shifted everything else. What's all coming out on the 20th though? The Amy Schumer movie and Super Troopers (which probably isn't a wide release?). I feel like this would still do the best out of those.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they just move Super Troopers to Netflix or something. They didn't spend too much on it and could possibly get Netflix to go for it.

 

I assumed that's what they were doing until we got a bunch of promo material at our theater last week. I can't imagine that's going to be a very wide release, but we'll see.

It's at 47% on Rotten Tomatoes and 42 on Metacritic. This would probably be in the teens if The Rock wasn't in it.

...I still want to see it though.

I loved the video game growing up....loved Rampage World Tour on GameCube....I don’t know how it’s a movie lol

 

I played on N64 all the time. So much fun.

Used MoviePass to reserve seats for tonight.

 

This was fun. I feel like the studios should give us a punch card every year and if we see all 5 Dwayne Johnson movies in the spring/summer, we get a free slurpee or something.

 

Nothing spectacular, but fun and a fast film. Definitely worth a moviepass viewing

 

I agree. There are some absolutely cringe-worthy moments that made me laugh too.

 

Is this better than jumanji?

 

I enjoyed it more. Its more action packed. Jumanji wasnt great to me

 

No but still watchable.

 

This seems like the exact kind of movie catered for MoviePass (for me at least). It's something that I normally wouldn't pay money to see in the theater, but if I was going to check it out it probably should be seen in theaters because it's chock full of explosions and special effects. I'll probably go sometime next weekend.

 

Got absolutely trashed with a friend and watched it tonight. This was a total blast
