Zack has a full album produced by El-P coming next year: Rage Against the Machine’s Zack de la Rocha to release debut solo album in 2017 Very, very excited for this. Even if it's not as good as Rage or One Day As A Lion, it's pretty much guaranteed to blow away what Prophets of Rage is doing now.
Excluding most of Renegades, yes. Bulls On Parade opened the door for me but I didn't hear that until this year.
Super crazy that you never heard Bulls until now, but better late than never. Renegades is easily their weakest, but it's all covers, so I don't really include it. The rest is all great though.
I'm sure I've heard it in the past but I didn't really pay attention until I decided to fill in the rest of their discography over the summer. It was basically brand new. I heard Renegades on shuffle and was kind of disappointed to find out it's a cover album haha. Ghost of Tom Joad is badass.
I heard some of the original Renegades songs and it put that album in perspective. It's like they built them up from scratch.
That, Pistol Grip Pump, Renegades of Funk, I'm Housin', How I Could Just Kill A Man, and Tom Joad all rule.
