Very, very excited for this. Even if it's not as good as Rage or One Day As A Lion, it's pretty much guaranteed to blow away what Prophets of Rage is doing now.

 

Nice. If El-P is producing, it's gonna be great.

Evil Empire is amazing.

 

S/T and Evil Empire are their best but the entire discography is fairly solid.

 

Yeah I always thought they were a very consistent band.

 

Excluding most of Renegades, yes. Bulls On Parade opened the door for me but I didn't hear that until this year.

 

You didn't hear Bulls on Parade until this year? I feel like that song is everywhere.

 

Super crazy that you never heard Bulls until now, but better late than never. Renegades is easily their weakest, but it's all covers, so I don't really include it. The rest is all great though.

 

I'm sure I've heard it in the past but I didn't really pay attention until I decided to fill in the rest of their discography over the summer. It was basically brand new.

I heard Renegades on shuffle and was kind of disappointed to find out it's a cover album haha. Ghost of Tom Joad is badass.

 

I heard some of the original Renegades songs and it put that album in perspective. It's like they built them up from scratch.

 

Some songs on Renegades are straight amazing.

 

Microphone Fiend rips.

 

That, Pistol Grip Pump, Renegades of Funk, I'm Housin', How I Could Just Kill A Man, and Tom Joad all rule.
