That truly sucks. Was looking forward to them coming here, but had a feeling that once Zach got injured, that was it for that. Yet another thing that COVID took away.
Wonder what happened behind the scenes. Kinda glad though that they ripped off the bandage and were honest about it.
I remember being so excited when they were announced as a head liner for Firefly before the world shut down, and I had that small glimmer of hope that it wouldn’t get as bad as it did and cancel firefly. Sigh.
So glad I got to see them on the last run. Seriously a top 10 show of my life. Even injured, Zack was a more engaging front man than 97% of other front persons I was hoping to travel and see them with him a full strength during the make up shows
Always got the feeling ZDLR did it reluctantly in the first place and is generally avoidant of anything resembling a cash-in so this doesn't surprise me at all
So happy I was able to see them last year but Damn that sucks for everyone who didn’t and had tickets
Yep, I also was at one of the MSG shows while he was injured and it was phenomenal. Not entirely surprising news but sad, it's a near miracle Zack was able to finish the NA tour with the injury at all let alone kill it as hard as he did.
people are asking a lot of questions about my "i'm just the bassist" shirt that are clearly answered by said shirt
I started seeing those videos on Tik Tok and they're awesome. The one with Chad Smith playing the 30 Seconds to Mars song is wild.
id love to see the before plays of them playing songs and the drummer recognizing the song whereas not knowing it.
