yes it's two solo albums and a joint album, not even close to the same thing migos did.

 

I mean if you're gonna game streaming sales this is how you should do it

 

all being released in one package, which will be very long and unnecessary to have that much music in one place and will likely have way too many stinkers

 

Neither rae sremmurd release has "stinkers," why do you suddenly think them trying solo shit will breed many of them

 

It’s going to be three distinct albums, are you telling me you’re incapable of viewing them that way because they’ll all be released together?

Idk, I feel like Jimmy and Swae have different enough styles that this could work pretty well

 

future is a more consistent artist and put out two albums in two weeks and like a third of it wasn't necessary at all

 

I think it’s a very ambitious undertaking. Since they’ve all even got their own project names, it’s very clear that they’re separate works that are simply being packaged together. I’m very excited to see how it works. Their albums have been so concise so far, so if this is another 3 11-12 track projects, I don’t see how it doesn’t work. Unless Swae or Jxmmi for some reason can’t carry a whole solo project.

 

Futures overall output is way less consisten than these two albums

 

Not to mention that HNDRXX is a goat Future project

Makes me wonder if this is their way of kicking off more solo-driven material. Not like officially ending the group, or anything, but just the beginning of other opportunities/directions for them

 

Like I said in the hip hop thread they've had solo features and writing credits in the last few years, trying solo shit makes total sense

Brilliant way to take advantage of current streaming rules without repeating what Migos did and wearing fans out. Numbers will say they have the biggest album in the world and their checks will go up.
