Album ranking: OK Computer In Rainbows HTTT Kid A Amnesiac The Bends AMSP Pablo Honey TKOL EP ranking: Airbag / How Am I Driving? In Rainbows Disk 2 COM LAG (2plus2isfive) My Iron Lung No Surprises / Running From Demons Drill Itch
Gagging Order is the second best HTTT song which is equally a vote for how amazing that song is as it is a vote for how much I feel they dropped the ball on the actual album
I love all their albums but I have to say, I’ve found a lot of their live recordings to be so much more engaging for me in a lot of ways. Helped me appreciate the albums a lot more as well. Especially songs off TKOL and Amnesiac. Hot damn I love this band Hail to the Thief In Rainbows Amnesiac Kid A Ok Computer King of Limbs A Moon Shaped Pool The Bends Pablo Honey
I genuinely like Blow Out and a few other songs on Pablo more than anything on TKOL. Radiohead's best songs from that era got left off the album. The Daily Mail, Staircase, Supercollider, etc. That's one reason I vastly like TKOL From the Basement version to the actual album.
moon shaped pool in rainbows kid a/amnesiac the king of limbs (from the basement version) ok computer hail to the thief the king of limbs (recorded version) the bends pablo horny
it's fine, just a portrait of a band before they found their voice, the jump to the bends is still remarkable
You, Creep, and Blow Out are all Bends level. Most of the rest is outright bad, but I do like Prove Yourself a lot in a 90s way
It’s cool if we shouldn’t give credit to a bad album for its live reimaginings but these are elite: latter not reaaally Radiohead but shrug
it absolutely is, but if we wanna talk baffling it’s why on earth did they mix and release that take when this existed. The energy difference is off the charts:
