They edited their special edition package to say that it'll include 2 bonus tracks so it won't be like it was for In Rainbows I feel like these pictures are just going to be included in the picture book included in the special edition. Not sure else they could be
How do people usually get into the sound check before the show? Do you have to be part of the crew or something?
You probably just have to know the band or something. The soundchecked song lists come from fans who are just waiting in line who overhear it.
You don't like Where I End And You Begin, Sit Down Stand Up, or A Punchup at A Wedding? Listen to HTTT again. Don't judge a RH album on your first listen either.
WIEAYB is among my least favorite RH songs. SDSU is good but I hate the end part. Punch Up is fine but boring. I did forget Go to Sleep though which is great (listened to the whole album for the first time in years yesterday).
If anyone here by chance has a spare ticket for London the next three days hit me up and I'll give you all my student loan/cake
HTTT was the last album i got into, when i did it became one of my favorites, now i revisit it and think its one of their weakest, despite still liking it a good amount.
Finally other HTTT fans come out Was beginning to think I was the only one. It flows awkwardly and jumps from one mood to another track to track, and I understand some songs on it are clearly better than others. But it's still a great experience BECAUSE you hear so much of what they're capable of. Radiohead's willingness to break their own mold has always alienated fans at some point or another, but the fact that they can pull off so many different styles is what makes HTTT an awesome record to me.
Do you not like bass and drums? Hahah. That song has an awesome rhythm section and that makes it immediately attention grabbing and entertaining to me.
I love HttT! It's a very strong album despite lack of cohesion. I can't stand The Gloaming but enjoy every other track.
Yes exactly this. I just take the Gloaming out of the playlist. We Suck Young Blood goes into There There just fine
HTTT is a wonderful album. If you like Radiohead but not that album, then I have to question what exactly you like about the band, as it highlights some of their very best qualities.
I don't like HTTT, it has a few good songs but eh. The only Radiohead albums I really love though are Kid A, In Rainbows and with some time probably A Moon Shaped Pool. The rest of them I could take or leave and only like a few songs off each.
Jigsaw Falling Into Place is such an underrated song, absolute epic on the level of OK Computer stuff imo
