Really like all the electronics in the background in Subterranean Homesick Alien. They make the song something else.
About halfway through, there are some songs I've really liked but overall it's not making nearly the same impact on me that The Bends did. Going to have to listen to both records lots more -- in addition to going forward, obviously.
I liked everything in the first half and little in the second half. It'll grow on me I'm sure. Subterranean Homesick Alien is my favorite song easily
im surprised you didn't mention the ending of 'let down.' that made me poop myself the first time i heard it.
I like that song a lot, don't remember off the top of my head but it might have been the last one in the track listing that I was really into.
I've listened to Kid A before once or twice, but I'm still going to listen as I go through the full discography. Putting it on now.
Just listened through Kid A for the first time in awhile and it's just so so good. Completely mesmerizing, emotional, and engrossing
I would even go as far to say Kid A is Radiohead's best album. It might not be my personal favorite, but it is their best.
Guess I didn't remember what it sounded like ha, because it really is an enormous leap from OK Computer and I was pretty surprised. I also had it on in the background so not many individual songs stuck out to me whereas my listen to OK Computer was a lot more focused. Just on first impression I think I like Kid A a lot more as a whole, but I'm making a lot of work for myself to give all these albums sufficient time to sink in.
Just finished listening to their entire discography, I don't know why it took me so long to give them a proper listen. Nonetheless, I'm in love. Amnesiac is my least favorite though.
Honestly recently my opinion has changed to In Rainbows #1 and Amnesiac #2, the latter has some absolutely baller songs
Nah, In Rainbows imo is perfect all the way through, I can never properly decide which is best, it changes every week but it's very close between those two.
