Went back and listened to the king of limbs for the first time in years..

Was never really a fan but man, the 2nd half of that record is fucking perfect.

 

I need so many recommendations for 2016 and even 2015 albums. I've been so out of the loop lately

 

In Rainbows is back on Apple Music.

I had the record but it makes easier for other peeps..

Listening to king of limbs now.. Codex is such a hard hitter emotionally

 

The drummer in this band has had a pretty easy job the last record and for these two songs ha

 

I sometimes have trouble realizing what's electronic drums or just programmed beatz on their stuff lol

 

So any speculation on album title? And I saw that a lot of people think that this is their last album...bummer.

 

why would people think that?

 

Self titled I reckon, or they would have announced it.

Also why isn't In Rainbows on Spotify? Makes no sense and means I have to use iTunes for literally one album :/

 

Also, any idea on what he says at the end of that video, where it's in slow-mo?

 

I think it would more likely be untitled than self-titled. But I don't buy either, I think it'll have a title.

 

At the end of the video, Yorke says something indecipherable. When the audio is isolated, reversed, and sped up, it appears he says something like "every minute, half of my love." Listen to that isolated audio here.

Father John Misty and Tame Impala are some great indie records from last year

 

Now if only they would add In Rainbows - From The Basement back.

 

Tame I know about. That's a great album. Will check out father John misty. If anyone has any others I would love to check some of it out. Really sad how out of the loop I am these days

 

he is a very talented and creative percussionist

 

Nice! Father John Misty was my favorite album of last year. If you enjoy that, let me know and I'll dig up my top 10 from last year for you. I know off-hand that it included Kendrick Lamar and The Sidekicks, as well. Not sure if you enjoyed Currents or not.

Been on a hiking trip the last 4 days and I come back to a new James Blake album and a new Radiohead album later today. What a weekend! Haha

Showing my age a bit, but I own Now 1, and it has Karma Police on it.

 

"A Moon Shaped Pool" floating around as the album title.

 

Not sure how I feel about that. Seems a little bit awkward

 

I'd be into it.
