    Someday I’ll find me Prestigious

Never listened to Radiohead, but Burn the Witch has me hooked.

So why the heck can't I start with In Rainbows? Because it's not streaming anywhere. Not on Spotify or Tidal. I just want to jump in.

Well, when I pay for streaming services, part of the benefit is being able to listen to an album before I buy it.

Everyone says to start with In Rainbows, but it's the one not available. As much as I enjoy Burn the Witch, I'm not convinced to spend money on an album that I may absolutely hate.

Just trying to be money conscious.

Since I only had gotten into them around the time of TKOL I actually started there which probably sounds more insane.

I started at Kid A but only really got into them after TKOL.

  9. I actually think In Rainbows is a great starting point.

it is. I think starting from The Bends and going all the way through is a great idea but for people who don't have the time or patience to go through the whole discography In Rainbows has pretty much everything great about the band.

Kid A or In Rainbows would be my starters, but I haven't even listened to The Bends. In Rainbows is quite accessible and Kid A is their most awe inspiring.

In Rainbows is totally worth an extra 10 bucks if you have it to spare. You could always find a torrent and if you end up loving it you can buy it later.

I started with In Rainbows. Granted, I haven't gotten to much else of their discography yet, but I thought it was a fine album to start with for me

In Rainbows is just a perfect album. The three song stretch of Nude>Weird Fishes>All I Need is probably my all time favorite stretch of songs.

Y'all are tripping if you think following the bands progression from point A to B isn't one of the most enthralling experiences available. Calling bends not great is borderline heresy, and in rainbows is not any more accessible than that record.

I'll be honest the amount of intense adoration in rainbows seems to have garnered in the years since its release is a little bewildering to me. It is an excellent album but I find it the least interesting of their albums from OK to IR

I agree about the amazing progression between The Bends and OK. I just don't ever really feel the urge to revisit Bends aside from a few songs.

I think The Bends is fantastic but In Rainbows feels like a mix of everything great about them. It's their most consistent to me as well. If people are willing to go from The Bends and listen all the way through then I would absolutely agree that's better but I think most people just want one album to check out.
