They asked Jonny Greenwood if Radiohead had any plans to tour next year or write new music, he said there isn't any and that they are focusing on their own projects.
saw a screening of Nosferatu synced up with Kid A and Amnesiac and while I respect the vision, that really, really did not work lol
they are braindead about being such geeks about Israel but that is an L take if I've ever seen one. tell me you haven't listened to hail to the thief without telling me.
Sorry, I missed this before. US imperialism is the primary contradiction in the world we live in today, and Israel is an outpost of US imperialism in the Middle East, therefore I do not care about the political analysis of anyone who ignores this.
From the article: "Though individual members have remained busy, including with numerous electronic and club-oriented records," Other than Thom's upcoming collab, did I miss numerous other electronic and club-oriented records, or is this writer being silly?
Jonny's shows with the Israeli musician Dudu Tassa in the UK have been cancelled and Jonny and Dudu Tassa have released the following statement:
I am somewhat empathetic to how much more complex it must feel for someone with Israeli family, but that statement really does the absolute bare minimum to even acknowledge anything happening in Gaza. I was also reading that Dudu Tassa recently performed for IDF soldiers? Which, if true...I don't know. Radiohead has been a top five artist for me for well over a decade. Johnny is a musical genius and I really enjoy his film score work as well. None of this is particularly new and doesn't spark something in me that wants to cancel the band so much as it has just been heavily bumming me out for the past few months, to the point that I've been skipping Radiohead tracks when they come up on my playlists. Shit sucks.
