Brand New deleting their instagram history last year is the only one I can think of off the top of my head.
I liked the King of Limbs, but I'm hoping this is stronger. In Rainbows is probably my favorite of theirs, honestly.
Heh, shows how much I've been paying attention. I didn't really follow the 1975's album lead-up other than being aware of their rebranding with pink. Wasn't the least bit cognizant of Weezer's. Either way, I don't see this practice as being played out as the other poster alluded to. Radiohead seems to be taking it to another level completely, too.
Haha I'm glad other people answered for me because I didn't have any answers off the top of my head. I just feel like I see at least a few bands do this every year and I just don't get it. I mean they could just post "NEW ALBUM COMING SOON" and people would be best as excited
I'd take that one for a sign of mercy ;P Radiohead can do whatever they want obviously, they don't even need that to have people following and listening to them.
I guess people got that stuff in the mail because that will be the only way to keep up with them since they're deleting everything online.
