I think it's #3 behind OK Computer and In Rainbows for me.

 

In rainbows sessions are back on Apple Music but not in an album wah

 

Bummer we never got an in the basement session with A Moon Shaped Pool. The In Rainbows and King of Limbs ones are amazing.

 

I was holding out hope they would tour with an orchestra and make the renditions more interesting

 

We are reaching the point where they could surprise release an album at any point in the next two years. Lol

 

I think Thom's releasing something this year. That should hold me over till the next LP. I don't know what to expect from them sound-wise with the next album. My brain says A Moon Shaped Pool pt. 2 or something similar but they've almost never followed up a record with a predictable output. Love this band, on board with whatever they do.

 

Just watched Suspiria, his score was fantastic

 

In the immediate future Thom is releasing some unreleased material from Suspiria on Feb 22nd.

 

Great news. Loved the soundtrack to Suspiria. I'm also thinking I read somewhere he's got another solo album on the way later this year too. Awesome.

 

He’s been playing around 8 new songs live for over a year now so I’d definitely expect a solo album soon

 

Been listening to this a lot over the last couple days for the first time in a long time. Really enjoying it.

Came to this thread to say that and realized it came out four years ago tomorrow.

This thread reminded me earlier that I haven't done a full Radiohead discography run. Currently two albums in.

 

All nine in order done.

I've never been the biggest Radiohead fan - I probably have more respect than love for them. Having said that, I've always thought their best stuff was fucking great.

Anyway, based on that run through, I think my order would be:

Ok Computer
Kid A
In Rainbows
The Bends
AMSP
HTTT
Pablo Honey
Amnesiac
TKOL

The top three are fantastic. The next three are broadly good to very good, with some amazing songs and a few passages I'm not sure about. Pablo Honey's ok - some good stuff, some uninspiring stuff, not terrible. Amnesiac is really overrated to me and at its worst is a slog to get through. TKOL is mostly a waste of time.

It physically hurts seeing Amnesiac that low

 

I guessed if anyone picked out a controversial ranking it would be that one.

I've tried with it but I'm really not keen. Sorry, dude.

 

If you moved Pablo to the bottom I'd be fine with that ranking.

 

In Rainbows has a special place in my heart so it'll always be my number one. OK Computer and Kid A always flip flop for my number 2/3.

 

I knew a dude who was a huge Radiohead fan but he only liked Pablo Honey and The Bends. It was weird

 

That's batshit.

 

I’m not a huge Radiohead fan but I can recognize a huge Radiohead fan when I see one and that is not a huge Radiohead fan.
