I love this record and place it in the upper half of their discography, which is an incredible feat at their age. But I do kind of understand your perspective here. "Decks Dark" and "The Numbers" both seem to be big fan favorites, but they strike me as vaguely pandering, genericized versions of the HTTT aesthetic, or something like that. If nothing else, they certainly aren't particularly "innovative." I still like them plenty, but... yeah.

"Glass Eyes" and "Identikit" are probably the most successful groundbreaking type song for the band here, while "Daydreaming," "Present Tense," and "Ful Stop" and are all just fantastic tracks, despite treading some of the same territory of previous records.

US tour announced! Apparently a pre-sale is being done tomorrow morning through WASTE but i havent gotten an email or anything. I imagine these shows will sell out in seconds.

 

That's what I'm scared of. I'm worried I'll be on the site right they go on sale and still miss them.

Ugh I am going to try to get these tickets on friday for Miami but have little faith. How do I get on this presale!? Im clueless. I need to see this band live.

Radiohead Setlist at Coachella Festival 2017

I was on the rail in the center for this show!

 

I still rate this pretty low on the totem pole, but a few of the songs have really grown on me. "Identikit" and "Decks Dark" are my two favorites.

 

I'd do anything just to see Pyramid Song & Reckoner

 

Ooooooo gonna need to check out that Coachella set

 

And I was in the front! Then the middle! Then sitting down in the back! :)

 

Too bad we're not going the same weekend next year!

 

I'm still torn on the idea of going weekend 1 again, lots of positives but also lots of negatives come with it

 

Blows my mind how much better "Bloom" is live than on TKOL. I always considered it a borderline throwaway until hearing some of these recent HQ live uploads.
