Holy shit this comment on the Daydreaming video: "Turn the volume down and play the video, then say "Previously on AMC's the Walking Dead.""
I think its about time I revisit the Radiohead catalog. I'll be honest, Kid A and OK Computer are the only things that have ever really stuck with me but its been a couple years since I gave the other albums a shot.
Listened to Burn The Witch twice and Daydreaming once. Trying my hardest not to go into this album as green as possible.
Only listened to Daydreaming the one time I watched the video, trying my hardest to keep it that way until Sunday.
I did enjoy The King of Limbs, but this is shaping up to be far better. I'm glad Thom's solo output doesn't seem to be creeping in, and that Greenwood's is.
I love how there are cellos mimicking the backwards speech at the end of Daydreaming. God damn Jonny.
With news about the impending release, I'm holding off on "Daydreaming." Loved "Burn the Witch" though.
I wasn't super impressed with Tomorrow's Modern Boxes on the first few listens and then just never really revisited it. Maybe I'll do that soon though.
I can't wait for this album. I dug the new song, but couldn't get into it as a single. Felt like I was watching a minute trailer to a movie.
Have they always had a specific time of release? I just noticed their website says 7PM BST. Wonder if they'll make it a pay what you want sale like they did with In Rainbows.
