This may be blasphemy to some, but "Daydreaming" is ripped straight from 2003-4 in the alternate, preferable reality where they continued linearly along the progression from OKC-Kid A... doubling down on the bleak, futuristic, alien soundscapes. IR is a masterpiece and I wouldn't trade it away, but at the same time, this is pretty much exactly the direction I was hoping for way back before HTTT came out. Please, please let the whole album flesh this sound out.
Strange they haven't announced an album title...self titled perhaps? Anyway Daydreaming sounds like what I wanted TKOL to be so insanely hyped.
I wonder if this album will be on streaming services. My initial thought would be no, but considering both singles immediately went to streaming, who knows. Anyway, both songs are incredible and this album will be incredible.
That would be awesome if it shows up tomorrow but they were pretty specific with the date and time on their website. Anything can happen with them though...
I wonder if the songs they recorded at Third Man are on here. My guess would be they'll show up as loosies eventually.
