I'm not sure it is. Wasn't the James Bond demo track released on Soundcloud after it was denied for the film? I swear I can remember listening to it.
I'm glad that it's the only song like that, I think they could do without the Coldplay comparisons haha
who cares about comparisons though, that song is better than anything i've ever heard coldplay do, there's no comparison because it's not bland and bad
After 3 full listens, I think my favorites right now are Burn the Witch, True Love Waits and Identikit. Everyone seems to love Ful Stop but I just can't get into that one. Gotta give it a few more tries.
The only thing I don't love about this record is daydreaming being the second track, it just feels kind of awkward after Burn The Witch. But those 3 songs you mentioned are my current favorites to.
Wonder if they'll re-arrange for the physical releases, despite that track order being listed on the website.
I actually feel like that opening three song run of BTW->Daydreamer->Decks Dark sets the stage perfectly even though it seems like it shouldn't. Despite the goofiness of the alphabetical tracklist I think this thing flows incredibly well.
Why does an alphabetical tracklist bother anyone? There are so many albums that have been that way, why does this specific time matter
The only sequencing decision that is even close to questionable is "Daydreaming" at track two and that song is so amazing that I'm already over it.
Yeah, totally. I don't keep a list in my pocket, but it's happened before. Also, this album flows perfectly so why does it matter what the songs are named?
I'm sure they named or renamed a lot of the tracks after the recording so that they could have the sequence they wanted while still having it be alphabetical order... Now what statement are they trying to make with alphabetical track list... Idk... What would be interesting is if there was a hidden track list that we should somehow be able to figure out the sequence by listening to the record but I havnt found any evidence to support that
I'm not trying to be contentious, but I genuinely can't understand being bothered by something like an alphabetical track listing. Like Teebs said, 99% they titled the songs after sequencing in this case, so who cares?
