I have an exam on Wednesday that's 1/9 of my degree, I don't know everything for it yet, still taking the time to listen to this in full and fuckkkkkkkkkkkkk what a GOAT album and only halfway through

 

Up on Tidal. I'm happy.

Desert Island Disk was bare and I wasn't excited by it tbh

 

the string section in tinker tailor... is one of the many standouts on first listen.

 

TKOL isn't bad, it's just too short. I love the mood of that album. Too bad people are quick to write it off.

 

I don't think people were too quick to write it off. It's been years since it came out and I still view it as a lesser Radiohead work, even more so after hearing A Moon Shaped Pool. I agree that it is better than some people like to give it credit for, though.

 

If Tidal has it, it has to be coming to Spotify.

This is the first time I'm hearing "True Love Waits," holy fuck

 

My point was that it wasn't a bad album. You can compare it relative to Radiohead's discography, and maybe it falls short when stacked against your favorites, but TKOL has its own merits. Most people simply trash it because it's not what they expected.

 

Probably not soon. Spotify is free, lots of labels and bands don't like that.

Only song I wasn't as crazy about on first listen was Tinker.

Part of the problem might have been knowing what came after. Now that I've listened to TLW maybe I can enjoy it more, haha.
