Some new R&B projects out today

 

New Cautious Clay album in May. Wasn't huge on his last album, hoping this will be a return to form. First two songs are pretty good

I find him so interesting, his first EP was wildly good and really felt fresh and new, since then I think everything has been... pleasant, but not reaching those highs

EDIT: actually!! I totally forgot that his last sink y that was almost jazz was actually really great, I take that back. Kinda funny you and I have different takes on it

 

Yeah, outside of “Another Half” and “Moments Stolen” I thought his last album was pretty forgettable. He didn’t totally succeed in pulling off the jazz sound imo

The new songs are promising, I think I’ll enjoy this new project more

 

Checked out his other EP and it's great too. "Pain In My Voice" is a highlight.
