After I finish listening to the Jeremih Late Nights mixtape I'm finally going through all of The-Dream's albums which is LONG overdue for me.
Thread followed. Jazmine Sullivan is my jam. All-time favorite R&B album, although it falls more on the side of neo-soul, is Avalanche by Quadron. I also enjoy scattered bits of Usher, Ne-Yo, K. Michelle, Trey Songz, etc.
I love seeing all the interest in dvsn in this thread. Really hoping for new Maxwell this year, Frank Ocean would be great too. I've also got my eyes on that new musiq soulchild album coming out soon.
If someone told me "Pretty Wings" was the best R&B song of all time, I wouldn't fight them very hard on it
Don't know what y'all thoughts are on Fetty Wap but he's featured on a new PnB Rock song and does something a little different than what he usually does. I like it
Maxwell says the new album will be a bit more dance oriented, more stuff that you can get on the floor to. He said it represents finding love after a particularly trying, traumatizing time in your life.
I've been really digging RKCB, new Gallant is good so far except the new version of Jupiter which is awful compared to the original
Duuuuuuude Urban Hang Suite is ridiculous my GOD. Can't believe I slept on Maxwell for so long, this is so good. Going to be listening to this album and the rest of his discography all today probably.
