Bernhoft is a Norwegian singer/songwriter who's huge in Norway... his talent is just ridiculous, and I'm always amazed he hasn't gotten a bigger following in the States. This is an acoustic version of probably his most popular song, but he has a ton of stylistic range while mostly falling in the realm of R&B/soul/pop.
Another phenomenal Bernhoft song... this one is much more soulful and emotional, with an incredible guitar part.
There are a lot of incredible R&B singers on the continent that don't make it to the US, which makes sense given that fact that American labels aren't even good at selling American R&B
Yeah, honestly if even someone like JMSN who I think is really talented has trouble gaining that much traction, there's no hope for small European R&B artists.

I WAS SO STOKED TO SEE NEW MUSIC BY THEM! "Please" is my favorite and Milosh sounds great; "Summer Days" is a jam that easily could have slotted into the last record. Plus it made me throw Woman on again, which is never a bad thing.
Woman was an album that coursed its way through my last relationship and I haven't listened to it since then. I'm just glad to have music by Rhye that isn't attached to painful memories. Maybe someday I'll check out Woman in full again but every time "Open" begins, it all comes swinging back to me. I hope there's a new record soon!
Woman is a good album, with a couple of great songs. I'd love it if they made an album that was great from start to finish. Edit: "Open" is one of my favourite songs ever. I just don't think the rest of the album comes close to it, but maybe that's an unfair expectation
