Ive noticed my attention falters a bit in the second half. Nothing on the album is all too heavy, yet sometimes can be pretty exhausting. Songwriting just feels massive to me.
As I have started to become a musician myself, it’s interesting to make music with a certain idea in mind of what the project is supposed to mean. I.e., I love post rock and pop, but the project I’m a part of is folk/funk. It’s cool reading about another artists mental process and anxieties about making music for a specific purpose is really cool and reassuring.
