I bet there will be an opener and then Quicksand and Glassjaw will both play the same amount of time, but switch between who closes.

 

After FYF Fest was cancelled Glassjaw announced a show at the El Rey in Los Angeles on July 21. Quicksand is not on the bill. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, 5/17, at 10:00am.

looks like Spotlights just got added to the Chicago date (possibly more), holy shittttt that's sick

 

Lovelorn is playing Philly. I think primitive weapons is playing some shows as well

 

Any idea on who will close the show?

Pissed I didn't grab $10 to tickets for this when I had the chance. I'm only a casual fan of Glassjaw and Quicksand but I'd go for Spotlights alone.

no Ape Dos Mil seems odd but Glassjaw seem like the type of band that would have no problem throwing a staple to the curb if they were tired of it so I respect it

was selfishly hoping for some Coloring Book but that set rules

 

It’s weird. They never play any songs off of it anymore, and it’s not even on Spotify or other streaming services. It’s like they’re trying to make people forget about it

 

Someone posted a pic of their merch in the GJ facebook group today and I guess you get a free copy of CB if you buy something which is cool

I'll take that setlist, but kinda strange Golgotha is one of the very few new tracks missing, since it seems like the consensus fan favorite.

 

The one thing that irritates me about Glassjaw’s setlist though is the fact that they didn’t put TYB and Mu back-to-back

I know it’s not the first time they’ve done it, but those flow so well together, I just always feel like they should be together

Also, where’s that Quicksand setlist at?
