Yeah I'm really digging this. My only complaint atm is that I don't really get Rodan as the closer. Ending on EDMR makes more sense to me.

 

Did anyone else completely forget this old Walter band existed? haha. They need to get all of his bands on streaming services.

Dead Heaven's had some good tunes too. Randomly saw them live a few years back and they killed it.

 

Another one: Walter and the motorcycles

 

Never heard of that one! I really like all the demos I've heard from another one of his old bands, World's Fastest Car.

 

Starting to dig into this and it's rad, but had to upvote the Handsome LP... never got madly into 90s Quicksand, but that record is special.

 

I believe (& could be wrong) Arthur from ErrorType:11 (another band to check out) was in WFC

 

SUBPOP released a single from Handsome.
The drummer Petey Hines was in the Cro-Mags & Murphy's Law

 

Man this might be my favorite Quicksand record. The drums on it are just absurd.

 

I thought this for a second, but I think recency bias is playing a role. Honestly I think I like all their albums about equally. I know it is easier to be consistent with only 4 records, but still, they are incredibly consistent.

I’m stoked to see if the dude from Botch is playing with them on the whole tour or not. They’re so much better live with two guitarists.

 

Steve Brodsky is doing the whole tour (Makes you wonder if this is a tryout....)
