Ohhhh how was it? Amazing I'm sure. I saw the setlist and even though it didn't really have many deep cuts, I still would have been very happy with it.
My biggest complaint with the setlist is that they didn't play I Appear Missing . Seen them twice now and neither time . The live videos I've seen of them playing that song are epic and I want to witness it in person haha
Oh yeah that song needs to be a live staple. Easily one of their best tracks. I'm hoping they'll add it to the setlist. I would love to see In the Fade but I don't know how likely that is. As long as I get to see Song for the Dead I'll be happy.
So ready for this album. I've been going through the whole discography and while objectively Lullabies and Era might be considered less solid than their other albums, I still think their whole output is damn near perfect. Era took the longest to grow on me, but I've really come to love it over the past couple of years.
Heard this ol' 80s tune at work tonight. Struck me that the chorus (cued up below) is sung in a similar register to Josh and the inflections reminded me of him. Would be cool to hear QOTSA cover it. Idk, it was a slow night. Can anyone else hear what I mean?
