Feet Don't Fail Me is ridiculous. I was going to sleep but I put this on instead, can't decide if that was the best or worst decision. This is so damn groovy.

 

I wish this album was longer.

 

It's a weird year when the beginning of the new QOTSA record reminds you of the beginning of the new Mountain Goats record

 

I've listened through Un-Reborn Again and I'm loving it, as expected. Hearing a big Bowie influence on some of Josh's vocals and it works so well.

This is great. I'll echo above that Feet Don't Fail me is so tremendously groovy. Homme rules.

 

What a way to open a record. That synth part is so cool and unexpected from these guys.

Feet Don't Fail Me might be my new favorite QOTSA opener.

 

I'm a few songs in and this is so good.

 

It's pretty long though

 

"Head Like a Haunted House" is wow

 

I want to hear the closer at Riot Fest. Hot damn

 

This is a cool, groovy, rock n roll album.

 

Five songs in this thing is an absolute monster

 

I'm just as obsessed with this album as I thought I'd be. I know Ronson producing got the side eye from some people (I personally never felt that way), but I feel this is a good pivot for them. They work so well doing a Zeppelin-esque groove, yet still sounding like themselves.

 

I was super intrigued when they said Ronson was producing. It worked perfectly.

 

That bass line gets me

 

I knew I was gonna love this.

Fortress with that slow burn.

 

Man this record is really fucking good

 

The transition from Domesticated Animals into Fortress is so good too

 

Listening to this album made me just go back and appreciate their pretty much flawless discography.

I don't think I've started a day listening to Queens and ended it sober though, God Bless The Homme.

 

Yep loved this on first listen. Nothing like cranking QOTSA on a hot summer day driving through hills.

 

Head Like a Haunted House definite first standout. Can't wait to digest this more.
