If it helps you there are still a ton of good people out there we just never see it in news and not a ton on social media. People always remember the bad stuff and tend to forget about the good interactions they have irl. I also believe a lot of the bad interactions people have in the day to day life has to do with all the stress people are under to keep their jobs, feed their families, fix their marriages, be good parents... And they take it out in traffic and on others cuz they don't understand how to deal with all the stress and can't afford a therapist. I think these people are generally good people though and having a hard time dealing with life.

On the other hand I think truly evil people were either were born with psychological issues or developed them bc of a bad childhood and idk if therapy could even help them at this point?

One more thing:

I really do respect everyone's opinion about it and what everyone shared! I do think that we shouldn't let our horrible pasts with religion dictate how we feel in a spiritual way towards faith. It's the biggest fuck you to religious establishments to not let them have that hold on us anymore.
