    I know lol when I opened the first letter I thought the same thing but then there was another letter from another company with the same info so I was like hmm maybe there’s something to this.
    I called my mom and she was more skeptical than I was and started googling it and ended up on a SKETCHY ASS SOUNDING SITE lmao
    Sometimes your own government be like that

    like it’s legit like Florida treasure hunt.gov or something lmao

    but yeah long story short was easy to figure out that I somehow was owed money by my last job that they never gave me and instead of mailing it to me like normal people they surrendered it to the govt

    side note my ex worked at this job with me and HE got an unexpected check from them months ago so I’m like damn they could mail it to him but not me?! Ok ok
