So last night we went to a bar where you get your own drinks. You grab a giant bottle and pour everyone else a drink. You don’t pour your own. It’s looked down on here. It’s like, you’re encouraging conversation and showing appreciation by keeping everyone at the same level of drunk and included I think.

Anyway. We’re drinking. Our friend who’s like a head honcho bloke at our company starts regaling us with stories of horrifying teachers who failed. White Americans who literally blew their entire pay at hostess bars and got in hot water with locals over trying it on with every girl in a skirt. One guy apparently tried it with a student. Another a teacher. Another got a woman pregnant who then turned up to his school like “COME SEE YOUR BABY!”. Yikes. Apparently there’s a LOT of folk who come here just thinking life will be like anime/hentai and they get to fuck a load of cute Asian girls.

So beers be flowing. Then the table next to us realises we’re all teachers and asks us questions. They’re super friendly and join us. Then spend the next two hours talking about sex, curse words and high fiving/shaking my hand because I’m apparently a gentleman around my gf. Guys........we easily spent like 200/300 quid. These guys paid for it all. He got his credit card out and goes “MYSTERY BACHELOR CARD! MAGIC! WHERE DOES MONEY GO?!”

Then yeah. Last train home. Currently on the floor with my gf at our friend’s. Hopefully she wakes up soon so I can crush some McDonald’s.
