hey future Ken, it’s your own worst enemy, past Ken. Sorry again about college, I guess alcohol can really ruin things huh hahaha. Well the good news is I won’t suffer from those consequences but you will.

anyways, before you forget I figured we could run this Emoshida Tenchu bit into the ground so I decided to spend my free time conjuring up what the actual show might be like

core concepts: Emoshida Tenchu is a Shonnen revolving around people named after emo bands who beat the absolute shit out of each other

“Battle Of The Bands”: when Emoshida Fighters join forces or work together, they form what’s called a “Band”. This band of warriors will compete in an annual tournament to determine the “EOTY” ranking or “Emoshida Official Tournament Year”

“Finding Your Sound”: every fighter has a “Sound” that they must find, be it through training, character development, or simple plot contrivances if we write ourselves into a corner. When a “Sound” is found it opens the fighter up to new abilities and combinations that they wouldn’t have had previously.

“Signing A Deal”: the winner(s) of the EOTY list will be given the chance to sign a deal with one of the many factions or “Labels” in the Emoshida universe. When they do this they are given wealth, fame, and the ability to go on “Tour” meaning they team up with other Emoshida Fighters and protect the innocent people of the world for great justice.

there will be more concepts as the show develops but these are the basics. Now let’s meet the characters

Sternum Glassjaw: main protagonist. Strong willed, posses a unique “Dynamic” sound that allows him to adapt to his opponents sound. Main character flaws are his past treatments of loved ones, specifically women, and a crippling disease that causes him to pass out or even go berserk on occasion. Must take special medication to keep this in check.

Atticus “The Drive In”: Sternums father, he had helped pioneer a new Sound before suddenly disappearing. Said to have been powerful but dangerous.

Jim MeEatWorld: secondary protagonist. Has won the EOTY tournament many times, most controversially the last EOTY tournament where, despite a solid albeit unspectacular performance, still managed to win. Friendly, humble, has flashes of brilliance but for the most part is just content to help.

Cur Sive: antihero, mysterious in his motivations. Definitely the character that will sell the most toys, kids are going to love him. Wear a white theatre mask similar to the comedy and tragedy masks. His sound is called “Gothic Strings”, carries around a cello that he used as a weapon. Has a dark secret that he refers to as his “Ugly Organ”.
