I remember watching The Originals. Multiple actors who weren't British doing British accents. Before I even looked, I knew which one was actually British, because of how he pronunced New Orleans lol

 

Those videos I was talking about get into certain words and sounds that are particularly hard to get right and it’s so satisfying to hear when they actually nail it.

 

Brits pronounce it New Or-leens for the record

 

Avenue 5 is truly bad, but watching Hugh Laurie effortlessly switch between English and American accents in the same scene or even the same sentence is incredible.
