Damn my plans for the night fell through but i am frankeddd up. AMA.

 

What was Costa Rica like?

 

Dudddeee, it was awesome. Very affordable, too. The only thing i didn't get to do that i wanted to do was surf. We ran outta time, sadly. We got to go on a fishing charter though that was pretty sweet. Wasn't super successful but we did catch some big fish that i can't really catch here. The captain also was like, a part owner of a restaurant within walking distance from our place so he cooked the keeper we got up and made us the best tacos of my life. We also got to go to a national park that is top 5 in the world. Saw a ton of crazy shit like howler monkeys and sloths in their native environment. It was awesome man, i'd definitely recommended goin' at some point. I was nervous because the airbnb was $70 a night and it was like, a mansion haha. But everything checked out/worked out. We had an unused guest room. You could've been there!

I'll try to post some pics soon, i have a ton of 'em.

 

Tell me more about the food and drinks, the other posts made me hungry.

 

my little sister is only 16 and she has already felt so much pain and it’s sad.

A few years ago a friend of hers was robbed and killed and last night two of her friends got drunk and died in a car accident.

 

Holy shit. Thats so sad.

 

I had tacos, quesodillas, sushimi mahi and tuna, a whole cooked snapper....i really leaned into the seafood because it's so fresh. The vegetables too, like with the pico and guac they served with the 'dillas....so fuckin' fresh and delicious. Also, weirdly they made like, the best mojitos i've ever had. I never order those here, but they were on point. I also drank these Cuba Libres which is basically rum coke and lime in a can. Those were also delicious

It was. We even got some shitty devils lettuce. Their laws there were very odd, haha. People would be smoking openly in the streets. I asked some guy, and the law is like, if you have a little it's fine. If you have a lot, it's not.
