Was talking about this earlier and I think this has happened before and then A1 got better again. I think it just goes up and down. If we can keep a positive, supportive, honest, and fun vibe here people will probably be more willing to give it another shot.

I’ve grown to like sours but also realized they’re like the most rare beer so that lines up

I wish I knew more about beer to know what I would like but I don’t lol

anyway I’m sure Tampa has some great breweries but between Dunedin, palm harbor, and safety harbor (all within 20 min) and clearwater and st pete (within 45 min) there are sooooo many breweries it becomes hard to justify driving an hour for one
And by hard to justify I mean ive never done it and truly can’t imagine it happening (unless I’m making money lol)

 

Might take an edible before the debates tonight and really live it up

But also their stouts taste like dessert more than they taste like beer. They're what we call "pastry stouts". Really, really good and honestly definitely worth an hour drive for. At least worth stopping by there next time you're in that area.

 

How are we feeling about the debates tonight?

 

Beer was an acquired taste for me and I started with stouts because they were pretty palatable to me already.

Now I surprisingly like really hoppy beers and those with strong flavors but I kind of had to try a lot of beer before I started liking it and understanding the different flavors you can get.

 

You would be a perfect candidate for one of those huge flights that has super small pours but gives you like 8 different choices. Great way to test out new styles.

But AC does great sours so I’m sure if you made it up there they would have something you like!
