Ya that's fair. I don't go for the group experience either i'm just lazy about the gym and don't trust myself to go do everything on my own lol

They definitely preach form over time efficiency though unlike Crossfit

 

I've been going to the gym in the morning the past couple weeks which is good, I just need to turn up my workouts, still forming a routine but im very happy that im getting up at 5:30 and going consistently.

 

I feel like I’ve also seen a lot of overlap with people caught up in MLM schemes. At least they share a similar space in my head.

 

a friend of mine built a crossfit gym in his garage with all legit equipment, he had to have spent almost 10k on everything, and ive done it a lot, and really only enjoyed squats and deadlifts. none of the other movements were comfortable at all, especially snatches.

 

Crossfit is probably the best thing for me to get in shape right now, it's worked before, but fuck man I just financed 3k for my dentist shit and just got new health insurance which is gonna chop off my monthly income, I can't afford 150 a month. I mean I can it's just cutting it close. idk

 

Yeah snatches are really uncomfortable but fuck it feels good to hit one clean with some decent weight.


I just love cleans and power cleans a lot.

Yeah that's why I like mine it's 50/50 cardio and lifting

 

I started exercising again and am immediately dealing with the knots that give me headaches and I don't know how to stop it at this point. I want to exercise and I'm hoping building strength will help it happen less but it's unbearable sometimes.
