Don’t know peapod, but I’ve used Instacart before. I’m just not sure if having someone else pick up my food will make me feel safer or not at this point. It’s a tough call. dude shows up and he is an ex of a former friend of mine thT I haven’t seen in like 10 years

had a few minutes of wtf what a small world (I live in a pretty densely populated area) and then he did the repair for free!

 

Also tho this is a long story but a wild one imo

I had this friend lex when we were 18 she was dating a 31 yr old guy who just got out of prison for killing a dude
(Lmaooo that sounds so bad. I mean it is bad. It was bad. 2009 was a different time)
So lex is a smallll girl and came inside covered in dirt and was like he just hit me so we called the cops and were FIESTY AS HELL
They blamed her as the instigator which we thought was BS
Then a month later she punched me in the face for no reason
10 years later it’s glaringly obvious that she’s always been just violent and uncontrollable

I apologized to him bc he very clearly wasn’t the problem in that relationship
And he did the repair for free so ayy


Anyway just incredibly wild to suddenly be facing that person unexpectedly and have no one to rly share it with (not friends with anyone from back then anymore lol)

I’m not making excuses for him but he was only 18, got into a bar fight and accidentally killed the guy then served 10 years
OBVIOUSLY that doesn’t make up for taking someone’s life, but if we believe in rehabilitation I think he’s a good example of it. I also think some people deserve second chances etc etc

Hannah's mom had Hannah over today, knowing her other daughter is quarantined for 2 weeks cause she coughed at work (apparently) and then she fucking said "you can stay here for 2 weeks so you don't put Lisa at risk" She fucking knowingly exposed Hannah to manipulate her into staying I am so fucking livid I can't stand it

 

all this talk of florida made me check in on my friend who lives there, they're alright, despite it being florida and in the middle of a move.

again, not trying to make excuses just replying. But he was 18 when he went away and was very much still emotionally that age when he got out. Obviously I still think that relationship gap is inappropriate but this was also an 18 year old who worked full time and lived on her own and was “more mature” so back then it was wayyyy less frowned upon.
Also, he tried to end the relationship several times but as previously noted, she was physically abusive so.
