Album: I'll take Paul Simon's Graceland, because this is going to be a feel-good desert island stint. Movie: The Princess Bride, because it has sports. And fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles. Book: My favorite book of all time is On the Road, and while it would hurt to leave behind, I'd get more reading time out of the equally excellent and profoundly obtuse Infinite Jest. Drink: Sweet tea, because I'm an honorary Texan and it's delicious. Food: Any kind of seafood would be a reminder about my predicament, so I'll take breakfast tacos. Misc: A boat, because I'm not planning on staying on this island forever.
It's exactly what it sounds like garlic butter and cheese on bread with cheesesteak in the middle. The most delicious food ever made. The place I get it from is called Rays Subs in Ewing, NJ
Album: Chase This Light Book: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Movie: Romy and Michele's High School Reunion Misc: Blankets because I can't sleep without the weight of one Food: Fettuccine Alfredo Drink: Strawberry lemonade
This is so fun but thinking about it really stresses me out haha. Album: Kanye West - 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' Book: Batman: The Long Halloween Movie: My Neighbor Totoro Misc: Volleyball Food: Chicken Wings with some good buffalo sauce Drink: Citrus Green Iced Tea
Album: Born to Run. C'mon, y'all knew this was coming. Movie: Tough one, but I think I'll take Pulp Fiction. Book: If I can't take a Butch Walker album, I'll take a Butch Walker book. Drinking with Strangers. Miscellaneous Item: I will also take a guitar, because what the fuck else am I going to do? Drink: Bell's Two Hearted Ale, so I can drown my sorrows when necessary. Food: My wife and I make this awesome pizza that has apple, gouda, and bacon. I'll take that because then I at least knock out most of the food groups.
It's ridiculously awesome. We've made some fucking killer pizzas in the past year or so. So many interesting things you can do with it.
Apple on pizza is interesting. But idk, I'm not a huge fan of Hawaiian pizza because of the pineapple so I'm not sure how I'd feel about apple
It's not as overpowering as the pineapple, IMO. It's a sauceless pizza, so thin slices of apple are the base, then the gouda, then the bacon. We usually throw some green onion on there too, but that's optional.
Hmm, that peaks my interest a bit more. I might have to try and make something similar to that when I get the chance and see how it is.
Album: Cymbals Eat Guitars - Lenses Alien. not my favorite album ever, but it's dense and not emotionally draining to listen to and probably the one i'd get least bored with Movie: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. escapism is good Book: An Introduction to Quantum Field Theory by Peskin. at least i'll get to learn about one more thing i love Misc item: my guitar. electric if i can bring my amp, acoustic if not Drink: draft beer (runner up: diet coke for the caffeine) Food: chicken burrito bowl w/ chips & guac, probably i'd probably kill myself after a short while anyway, but the above would help stave it off for a bit
@Craig Manning Late, but I have a recipe for an amazing pizza with prosciutto and peach that I can send you if you want
Album: blink-182's untitled. I've been listening to it pretty consistently for 13 years so hopefully that's a sign I wouldn't get tired of it. Movie: The Lego Movie. I figured it should be something re-watchable and happy/inspiring, and I could always look for things I missed in the background animation. Book: Gravity's Rainbow. Maybe if there was literally nothing else to read I'd finally get past the first five pages. Miscellaneous Item: If I'm on an island I guess a surfboard. Drink: Do discontinued drinks count? I'd love a Pepsi Lemon Twist. If not, then Strawberry Lemonade Gatorade. Food: I'd honestly take a Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich.
I'm late to the party, but... Album: Mac Demarco - 2 Movie: Office Space Book: Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs Misc: Acoustic Guitar Drink: Arizona Green Tea Food: Chicken Quesadilla Yep, these look good to me. Island life, here we come.
