Did ya’ll miss this? The original tracklisting is re-recorded. The bonus track with Courtney is re-recorded with an added feature. If Lynn said it’s re-recorded, what’s the confusion? lol

 

she said the album was rerecorded in her interview with Courtney, but she also indicated that the original album was getting an anniversary reissue in some footage from a concert. maybe she meant the former only, but it sure sounded like she's said both.

 

Keep investigating folks, we're close to solving the case

 

i did go ahead and pull up the album in Apple Music on my computer and the track times are identical, so i think this release in particular is just the original album with a few new songs added on. i'm assuming a full rerecording is still coming, but it feels like it would make more sense to just combine them all into one package.

 

I'll be pretty bummed if the whole thing wasn't actually re-recorded. One of the only cases where I'm actually excited to here a re-recorded album.

 

yeah, Lynn's voice sounds better now. i remember 10 years ago i watched a recording of one of their sets during the White Noise run on YouTube and she sounded like she was straining at times. i'd love to hear a new take on some of these songs.

 

yeah I re-listened to the album today in anticipation and it definitely could use some more modern touch-ups and Lynn's current voice.

 

The songs have, in fact, not been re-recorded.
