Doesn't hit me on first listen as much as any of the White Noise singles (or album songs). Interested how the album will shape up. Easily one of my most anticipated of the year. WN remains fantastic.
It's a tiny bit underwhelming for me and doesn't resonate immediately like anything from white noise did, but I do still like it. Lynn's voice sounds awesome as always.
Didn't mind it, chorus is a little repetitive. Also is it me or are her lyrics hard to understand at times?
I dug it. I love the atmospheric side of them, but I'd love if they came in out of left field on one song with a heavy riff mixed in with the ambient stuff. Is there an album announcement or are they still slowly revealing this?
Not a bad first song. They're definitely on the right track. Kind of reminded me of Anberlin during the "You Took My" part.
Was hoping for something more like My House, St Patrick or Fire for a lead track. Something more upbeat and punchy. This seems like a mid album song that I would skip. That said I do love this band and am excited for the album
I think this is less what I expected new PVRIS to sound like and more what I expected new Lorde to sound like.
