The production on Hard Piano, Come Back Baby and Santeria makes this album. Those songs are so brilliant.
The Gospel According to Pusha T This is an incredible article. I honestly hadn’t really considered Pusha T’s work in this context before. Coming from a family of many addicts, this hits hard.
Definitely feel that article as my family has its own experiences with addiction as well. Although this article brings to mind that Atlanta episode from the first season, when a social media celebrity harasses Al for instagram fame. He explains to Al that everyone exploits and everyone eventually gets exploited- pain, history, lives are exploited, etc... it just depends on what you’re willing to do to get what you need. Very interesting stuff.
Was so excited to finally see him live. He came out when I saw Gorillaz but I've wanted to see him headline for years now
My date is still on but wouldn’t be shocked if it got cancelled a week before or something. Only got to see him once at a festival.
I thought a production truck wrecked up north and damaged stuff so they cancelled dates?? Could’ve been an excuse though. Best show I’ve seen to this day still.
Yeah, I was bummed my date got cancelled. I'd bet it's from poor ticket sales. Cheapest tickets were close to $60 with service charge for my date.
