If you’re annoyed about the short runtime, don’t worry Drake’s likely got an hour and a half of material on his new project and prob 2 new songs after this dropped.

 

I swear I was convinced pusha was going to drop an adidas reference during if you know you know with the tiger stripe part.

 

Man, I’m conflicted on something Kanye produced and Nas co-signed, but this is damn good.

yeah I don't judge entire rap songs on one line

 

just saying, that one line very very much takes me out of the whole song

 

The beats on this are stellar.

 

I will say this bangs while driving, as expected

 

I'm way into this. The short and sweet album is a favorite of mine. People will complain about anything.

My commutes usually are in the 25-40 min range so I’m psyched about less bloated projects

I’ve warmed on the production but still don’t find it his best ever. His verse is still garbage

 

kanye ruins that song. everything else is dope though

 

the pitchfork review nailed the kanye involvement on the head. his verse completely takes you out of the luxurious fantasy of the album. but his production is an undeniable backdrop for pusha's expensive cocaine raps.

 

yeah I agree with that take although I didnt think the verse was horrible or anything, just average but the production really fits well with Pusha's raps.

 

He does poop de scoop on the record how is that not horrible

 

His verse is fine, nothing spectacular but it has a few lines that are alright. I also would have been fine with it not being there. I wish I hated it more tbh

 

Like, Devil in a New Dress just came on shuffle and it made me more baffled how we’re praising this Kanye

 

kanye's best ever production will always be 808's to me. everyone loves his sample heavy stuff but i really like seeing what he can do without any samples. he has great compositional skills that are most upfront on that album.
