Yeah album is very pretty, but it also kinda meanders a lot. A number of these songs just feel like long interludes. Could definitely see this growing on me, but it's not gonna be anywhere near the AOTY-contender I was hoping for.

 

this all has me a bit worried damn i was really hyped, still eager to spin but i guess this might j end up being one of those bands where nothing scratches the itch the debut does, like theyve always been for me

 

Only halfway through this but it sounds like Purity Ring has been listening to a lot of Oklou.

 

This has already grown on me. I still think it meanders, but it's so gorgeous I don't even care anymore. red the sunrise - the long night in particular is a beautiful little run.

 

So this ended up being mostly bullshit. This thing might be in my top-5, maybe even top-3, for the year now
