Loved that Olive Garden song. Haven’t listened to any of the other singles. Gonna spend time with them before Friday.

 

Unraveling is great, but I do think that the back half, or back third, does lose the plot a bit. If it was an EP with just that front section... all hits

I think last song on unraveling might be their best song

 

"Olive Garden" really feels like a Pinkerton b-side (complimentary)

 

I love the Dream is Over but do feel it is pretty strongly frontloaded

 

My brain is dumb and bad, whenever a new PUP album comes out I think “eh it’s alright I guess, liked the other albums better.” Then months later I listen again and remember “oh wait this band is EXACTLY my shit” then listen non stop for months more.

Hardest thing for me is unraveling or Pup last. Both have a couple great tracks but aren't amazing overall. But I think Dark Days put Pup over Unraveling.

Some great songs on Unravelling but I hate hate hate the way that record sounds.
