i've been listening to unraveling a lot the last few weeks. it's great. totally fine, relentless, cutting off the corners are some of their best songs

 

New song is pretty damn good.

Stoked for new PUP! They've become one of my all-time favorite bands. They've never put out a bad album, cant wait for this! Doubt that's the Album title though, it was just a lyric. Could be wrong.

 

Given how meticulous the video is, I doubt it's like, a placeholder or anything.

Mystery song available with Paranoid on a 7" vinyl on Substack, probably the official launch single.

 

^Based on the way that 7 inch is described, I’d guess it’s not the official single but just some kind of one off/joke b-side lol.

“B side is… something you haven't heard, and unlike any vinyl you own. We showed it to some friends and they all agree it’s kinda messed up, pretty stupid, and also very fun.”

 

Had a really great interview with Steve. We talked about Paranoid, how he approached song-writing this time around, his love on Joni Mitchell, and the fact that he's basically stopped wearing basketball jerseys on stage (!)

Even if the depiction of Olive Garden is positive, surely the rest of the song will be depressing. Like how everything in your life is shit and the only thing that makes you happy is going to Olive Garden (when you’re here, you’re family)
