They’ve always been big to into Weezer. Covered “el Scorcho”, and some of those riffs of The Dream is Over are very Pinkerton era Weezer (ie, Familiar Patterns)

The more I see this band hyped, the more I regret not checking them out before seeing them open for Menzingers.

It was mid-week, out east on LI, the crowd was giving them nothing, and it definitely affected their set.
I came away feeling like I'd remember their name but not seek them out. Fast forward through seeing Fuck Art on loads of EOTYs and putting it in rotation, and I really can't think of a band I regret not knowing before seeing them more.

 

This song put such a stupid smile on my face. They’re back, baby.

Kinda in the same boat tbh. They were dope live when I saw them open for the Menzos last year, but they didn't do a lot for me on record.

Shout out to them for doing the intro to Executioner's Tax by Power Trip as a nice little tribute to Riley though. That was a fucking nice surprise.

 

I'll take my seat in the very small minority (pop: maybe just me??) and say that nothing released since the EP has really caught my attention enough to get me excited for this record. Maybe I'm just burnt out on PUP?

That being said, the new song is better than kill something and waiting.
