Is it like this with all the bands you like? How do you find out when the bands you like are releasing new music or touring (assuming you go to shows) if not for social media? All on here? Genuinely curious
Haha kind of related but whenever I hear a pop-punk band that I'm not familiar with I always assume the lead singer plays guitar until I'm proven otherwise. It's just such a staple of the genre
All on here, I don’t have instagram or Twitter or anything, so unless it pops up on this site I’ll miss it unless it catches my eye on an app when I’m selecting an album to listen to. It’s kind of fun because every few weeks I’ll scroll through the music thread and be like “oh wow holy shit a new album by that artist!” and see that the thread has a billion posts starting months ago when everyone else in the world found out lol. I also scroll through the weekly release threads and the comments and catch a lot of stuff that way.
I always chuckle to myself when Soundgarden “catches a stray” as the kids say, in “Robot Writes a Love Song”.
they weren’t kidding when they put “forever on tour” in their ig bio. i missed their album tour and just found out they’re coming back to my area in September. super stoked to see them with the OBGMs
this album's mere existence has made my ongoing mental health tailspin manageable at the very least. up there among the year's best imo
two supports so get down there early I'd say. PUP probably on by 9. speaking of, seeing them in FIVE FUCKING DAYS AAAAAA
Yeah, that's my thinking too. It's more whether the music will start at 8 or if it might be earlier or even later. Here on my own so don't wanna be stood around for ages aha.
