Tbh didn't notice that was true when I've seen them live, but I only saw them once pre Dream is over so I suppose that's the only time I would've heard those songs in their original way. Half step down is what I know now

 

The fact they play half step down didn't cross my mind once when I saw them

 

The only thing that crossed my mind was "holy shit, Steve's guitar parts" and "MEET ME AT THE RESERVOIR" and other assorted lyrics

 

His guitar playing literally blew my mind when I saw them

 

Yeah I've never noticed. Probably too much energy in the room haha

 

Same, feel like no one pays attention to how wild his leads are -- I do not understand chromaticism at all and he makes it sound incredible

Dudee, yep. The NYC date of that tour made me realize how awesome going to shows alone is lol.

 

had barely known pup at that point and they just blew me away, knew they had the level of superstardom they've hit in them at that point

 

What cap venue?

 

only five people were allowed in, i had to weasel my way in because i knew a guy, got backstage passes too and hung and smoked weed with all the bands

and the menzingers/fake problems/restorations/captain we're sinking tour before that too

 

I had a bonus on that show because The Swellers also played so I would say I preferred that one haha

 

Both those lineups were amazing. Gonna see CWS for the first time since that tour next week. And PUP blew the crowd away on that Menz tour, they then sold out the same venue last November and acknowledged that first show there.

 

My personal fav was the Mobo/pup/jeff rosenstock/tiny moving parts tour but Pup had to drop off my date of that tour. :((

 

Also awesome, except I was really sick and didn't enjoy myself to the fullest

 

New show announced Oct 3 in Palatine. Will make up for missing the Lolla aftershow
